Coffin testing

Serendipity’s coffins and caskets comply with the Australian Use of Cardboard and Other Receptacles guidelines, published by the Australasian Cemeteries and Crematoria Association. Moreover, all Serendipity coffins and caskets have been tested by Bullivants Testing Services in Western Australia, an independent testing authority.

The test results proved that, when suspended by all four handles, our coffins maintain a weight capacity of 175 kilograms, with no indication of damage to the handles or base of the coffins.

Prior to the testing, the coffins were stored at mortuary refrigeration temperature for five days.
